It was the night before christmas...
Yesterday I went skating with my friend Sophie to the Winter Wonderland in Hyde park. It was really good however the ice was bumpy because they hadnt resurfaced it. That wasnt the most exciting part of my day though. We took a visit to selfridges (Love it! Favourite shop of all time) and omgoshh theres a massive shoe sale going on. Im talking about Prada, Gucci, D&G, V&R ect. shoes with £100's of pounds off! I was searching for louboutins but didnt find any as my mum got very impatient. There were a pair of Prada shoes for £90 reduced from £390 that I plan to go and get saturday. Literally there was a massive section with thousands of shoes reduced. Its like a beautiful dream! Selfridges havent advertised this shoe sale due to the fact half of britian would be there fighting for shoes.
Sophie had never been to Abercrombie and Fitch before and so we took her there. I hate it but it has a few nice clothes (things that arent skin tight and have "A&F" plastered right along the front). I brought a top that goes well with my velvet skirt to wear for my birthday (going for afternoon tea at the Ritz!)
Well happy holidays everyone and Ill blog soon!

Good morning Starshine the earth says hello
The highlights of last week:
Last week of school!
Gave out presents
Early christmas presents (had some amazing things- Harajuku lovers perfume. headbands, jewllery ect.)
Snow on Friday although its been freezing all weekend. However it has really got me in the christmas spirit. Only 4 days to go!
Here are a few photos from french vogue that I meant to upload the other day.
Let it snow!
My dog, Chester (who is now stretched out in front of the heater hogging all the heat) loves the snow and getting in photos. I love how the snow covers things and makes them look pretty. But its so cold! This jumper reminds me of the Ashish tracksuit top.

Ou Sont Les Creatures Sauvages?
I havent posted for over a week now. Sorry. Iv been so busy with christmas shopping and wrapping. Only 11 days to go! For once I'm really prepared. I brought my Mum a Radley bag, My Nan Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair Serum and Annie a few little bits from Jack Wills (I had been saving for a while in order to buy these nice presents). I cant wait for the sales!
The christmas light display at the front main entrance of Selfridges (The one with the awesome doors)
Oxford Street was really packed! We managed to grab ourselves a few freebies: A cup of tea outside Superdrug, An american express shopper bag (my mum was really pleased with it!) A Gucci Flora ribbon and free gift boxes from H&M. When I go to London with Annie we always seem to get freebies given to us. It felt so christmasy as there were crowds of people with masses of shopping bags and a christmas market opposite M&S.
My mum went to Paris on Saturday and brought me back Jalouse and French Vogue. I will upload the Images from Vogue tomorrow. I love the cover of Jalouse and how it is layed out in polaroids. I wish they would sell this magazine in England. Luckily I have a French friend who willingly translated some of it to me (she wanted to read it anyway so it was a fair deal)
Here are some pictures that I have taken of it:

Different is Pretty
Lyrics taken from the song Sophie by Goodshirt. Elland (one of my best friends who moved back to New Zealand. Miss her loads) suggested I listened to it. I absolutly love this song. It reminded me of this image of Gemma Ward.

I'll search high and low
Its nice to know...
I finally have a few followers of this blog! Thanks everyone for your comments and followings :D
Im supposed to be doing my textiles coursework now but decided to take a short break and blog. Heres my design for a dress that I am making. The theme for my dress and bag is Nautical. (I know the pose of the model is a bit weird but I was meant to draw a border around the drawing so that it looked like she was posed inbetween two walls)
I know that my drawings arent particulary great but practise makes perfect (so i'll keep practising)
This is a prototype of a clutch bag that I may make. Its a really rough copy (took about 10mins max to do so very rough copy) and so none of the edges are finished off and the sides are not very straight.

Grrr its Monday
I have worn it over my "I heart Malaysia" t-shirt with my black scarf, leggings and heels. I still have'nt quite mastered the art of taking a brilliant photo so any helpful tips would be rather appreciated.

Lookbook.nu
I find it inspirational as there are so many different styles. When I tried to sign up it said that it will email me when any invitations become available. Wonder how long that will take. Hmm...

One blazer:So many uses
I brought this blazer for £1 at a car boot sale and seem to wear it all the time. Its funny how we get attached to things that werent very expensive or free. I love the whole Hard Shoulder look this season so I plan to add another pair of shoulder pads to the blazer. I am wearing it with a yellow Jack Wills t-shirt, Topshop black bow headband, Jack Wills skirt and had a small pin that said "Gymnastics" on the right collar of the blazer. I like to mix up what labels I wear however I thought the yellow t-shirt looked good with it.

This is the time and Place to be alive
Hello everyone
Winter is looming so nows the time to layer yourself in lovely knitwear. Thanks to Uniqlo we wont go cold this winter! And with the reasonable prices of we will still have enough money left over for everyones presents.(Shop online at http://www.uniqlo.co.uk/ )I personlly like the "Jacquard" sweater in dark purple (£19.99) which would be perfect to snuggle up in with leggings and thick knitted socks.
I was browsing http://www.office.co.uk/ today looking for a new pair of pumps when I noticed that they have a designer clearance section. It sells off pairs of designer shoes that have been on display at very discounted prices. I have always wondered what shops do with items on display once they have finished with them. An example of the wonderful shoes they had were a pair of grey suede Opening Ceremony Platform lace ups for £70 reduced from £195! The only downsides of this is that they seem to only have small sizes such as a 3 and 4 which is perfect for people who have little feet (lucky me!) but also there is a chance that the shoes might have a few marks. I was drawn to a pair of yellow Hunter wellies that were £45 instead of £75. Such a bargain!
I suggest you all have a look when you get a free moment. You never know, you might find those Alexandra Mcqueen shoes you have been looking at!
