Grrr its Monday

What dreadful weather it was again today. I had to be at school earlier than usual so found myself in a complete rush. Not wanting my umbrella to be destroyed (as my mums was when she took our dog out earlier this morning) I decided to brave it and go with only a coat to protect me. This was a wise choice as my top half was completly dry however my legs were freezing all day. Thank you Roxy for keeping me and my stuff dry (I used a big Roxy holdall).
When I came in from school I got round to taking a few pictures of my latest Blazer.

I have worn it over my "I heart Malaysia" t-shirt with my black scarf, leggings and heels. I still have'nt quite mastered the art of taking a brilliant photo so any helpful tips would be rather appreciated.

Rain Rain go away...

Its absolutly peeing it down outside. Just typical British weather I guess. It hasnt really rained as hard as this for a while so I took up the oppertunity to go out and dance in the rain with my umbrella.

This fetish of mine!

I admit I have a thing for wayy oversized blazers at the moment. My recent "Investiment"(will last for ever unless I grow immensly which is highly unlikely) was purchased on the way home from school the other day at a charity shop for £4! Such a bargain plus the money goes to a good cause.
I shall take a picture of it and upload it soon.

Lookbook.nu

How did everyone join?

I find it inspirational as there are so many different styles. When I tried to sign up it said that it will email me when any invitations become available. Wonder how long that will take. Hmm...

One blazer:So many uses

Before I start: Sorry for the clutter in the background of these pictures, I left my closet door open. I also just took these photos to see how the outfit looked as I dont have a full length mirror yet but then thought I could add them to this blog.
I brought this blazer for £1 at a car boot sale and seem to wear it all the time. Its funny how we get attached to things that werent very expensive or free. I love the whole Hard Shoulder look this season so I plan to add another pair of shoulder pads to the blazer. I am wearing it with a yellow Jack Wills t-shirt, Topshop black bow headband, Jack Wills skirt and had a small pin that said "Gymnastics" on the right collar of the blazer. I like to mix up what labels I wear however I thought the yellow t-shirt looked good with it.

Here I have worn it over the yellow t-shirt. When I wear this out I normally wear black tights with it and a thick scarf, specially in this horrible British weather!
In this picture I have paired it with a Ralph Lauren light blue and white oxford shirt and black leggings from Mango. To accompany it, I am carrying a black Longchamp bag. I wore to parents eveing last week and got asked if I had been somewhere nice.
I wore the blazer on Friday (Mufti day for children in need) with a belt round it to draw it in at the waist over a white ruffled vest top, Blue velvet skirt (shown in the first picture), dotty tights and heels. Ill take a picture of it soon and post it. I get mixed reactions to what I wear: some people like it whilst others are just shocked as its stuff they wouldnt wear. But why dress for other people?

This is the time and Place to be alive

Post from Blogger(a letter from the editor):
Hello everyone
Winter is looming so nows the time to layer yourself in lovely knitwear. Thanks to Uniqlo we wont go cold this winter! And with the reasonable prices of we will still have enough money left over for everyones presents.(Shop online at http://www.uniqlo.co.uk/ )I personlly like the "Jacquard" sweater in dark purple (£19.99) which would be perfect to snuggle up in with leggings and thick knitted socks.

I was browsing http://www.office.co.uk/ today looking for a new pair of pumps when I noticed that they have a designer clearance section. It sells off pairs of designer shoes that have been on display at very discounted prices. I have always wondered what shops do with items on display once they have finished with them. An example of the wonderful shoes they had were a pair of grey suede Opening Ceremony Platform lace ups for £70 reduced from £195! The only downsides of this is that they seem to only have small sizes such as a 3 and 4 which is perfect for people who have little feet (lucky me!) but also there is a chance that the shoes might have a few marks. I was drawn to a pair of yellow Hunter wellies that were £45 instead of £75. Such a bargain!
I suggest you all have a look when you get a free moment. You never know, you might find those Alexandra Mcqueen shoes you have been looking at!
